My mission and the driving force behind creating the Mimi Michelle Cosmetics line was to create a line of products that would enhance the natural beauty of women. I pulled inspiration from many sources and my interest in the world of fashion. And I am dedicated to developing a line that is inclusive to all because what I have learned, from all kinds of women, is that there is this underlying thread when it comes to what they want from a cosmetics line:
All women want to look fresh yet sassy, sexy yet sensual, and beautiful yet bold. We all want to flawlessly enhance our natural beauty and that is the principle that drives my signature style of inspiration.
On my own quest to define my personal beauty, I have learned to reject the desire to compare myself to others. Your life was never meant to be living like everyone else. Here is my personal charge to you, beautiful woman:
We don’t look the same, we don’t sound the same, our talents are not the same, and our deep-held values are unique to each of us and our experiences. Evolve your thinking. Decide to focus less on the negatives and more on the positives. Make a conscious decision to stop dwelling on the negative messages of the past and begin centering yourself on the positive aspects of your life today.
I have found success today because I chose to intentionally and specifically, begin working towards my life’s goals. There is no greater key to self-confidence than accomplishing a goal that allows another person into the deepest depths of your heart's desire. But doing it breathes life into your soul and builds confidence in your inner-most core.
Surround yourself with people that will inspire you to be a better person, provide you with motivation to achieve your goals, empower you to make the changes you need to succeed and cheer you on to be successful. When you’re surrounded by good people, you’re surrounded by love. You’ll be less stressed and find more joy in daily life. It was when I started spending more time with the good people in my life on purpose, that I truly began to see greater and farther achievement. It is when this line was birthed. Through the love and encouragement of being surrounded by good people.
